Description:Allosteric and reversible inhibitor of protease-activated receptor 1 (PAR1)-mediated platelet activation (IC50 = 0.26 µM for the inhibition of platelet P-selectin expression on human platelets). Synonym(s): 2-bromo-N-[3-(butanoylamino)phenyl]benzamide Biological Activity: ML-161 is an antagonist of the protease-activated receptor 1 (PAR1), that inhibits thrombin and SFLLN-induced platelet activation. ML-161 dose dependently inhibits SFLLN-induced expression of P-selectin with an IC50 of 0.26 µM. Solubility: Soluble in DMSO Storage / Stability: Store at or below –20°C.
