Both the absorption and emission properties of the DyLight® fluorophores match the excitation and detection wavelengths of common fluorescence instrumentation used for immunocytochemistry, immunohistochemistry, and flow cytometry. The DyLight® fluorophores exhibit higher fluorescence intensity and photostability than Alexa Fluor, CyDye and LI-COR Dyes in many applications and remain highly fluorescent over a broad pH range (pH 4-9). Additionally, the water solubility of the DyLight® fluorophores allows a high dye-to-protein ratio to be achieved without causing precipitation of conjugates.
