ExcelTaq™ Blood Direct DNA Polymerase is highly tolerant in the presence of PCR interfering/ inhibiting substances in blood, such as IgG, hemoglobin, and lactoferrin. ExcelTaq™ Blood Direct DNA Polymerase is compatible with most anticoagulants, such as citrate, EDTA, and heparin (Fig. 1).
