RASA1, also known as RAS p21 protein activator 1 or RASGAP, is a 120-kDa cytosolic human protein. The protein encoded by this gene is located in the cytoplasm and is part of the GAP1 family of GTPase-activating proteins. The gene product stimulates the GTPase activity of normal RAS p21 but not its oncogenic counterpart. Acting as a suppressor of RAS function, the protein enhances the weak intrinsic GTPase activity of RAS proteins resulting in the inactive GDP-bound form of RAS, thereby allowing control of cellular proliferation and differentiation. Mutations leading to changes in the binding sites of either protein are associated with basal cell carcinomas. Mutations also have been associated with hereditary capillary malformations (CM) with or without arteriovenous malformations (AVM) and Parkes Weber syndrome. Alternative splicing results in two isoforms where the shorter isoform, lacking the N-terminal hydrophobic region but retaining the same activity, appears to be abundantly expressed in placental but not adult tissues.

二、特异性免疫:
病原体进入机体后,又可分为胞外菌感染免疫和胞内菌感染免疫两类。
1、胞外菌感染免疫:胞外菌感染时,病菌位于宿主细胞外的血液、淋巴液、组织液等体液中。这时发生的是非特异性的吞噬细胞吞噬和炎症反应;随后产生待异性抗体,两者配合,共同消灭病菌。
2、胞内菌感染免疫:原菌侵入机体后进入宿主细胞内,此时的体液免疫对胞内菌作用不大,因抗体不能进入宿主细胞内,故对这些菌的清除需依靠细胞免疫。一般先由吞噬细胞将它们吞噬,但不能有效地将其杀灭,因此病原菌容易随吞噬细胞在体内扩散,蔓延,而造成全身感染。但在此过程中,机体在病原菌的刺激下逐渐形成细胞免疫,通过致敏淋巴细胞释放的各种淋巴因子,激活吞噬细胞,可大增强其吞噬消化能力,抑制病原菌在吞噬细胞内生存,从而获得防御同种病种原菌再感染的免疫力。
