Description	The deduced 350-amino acid NPIP protein is membrane bound. Immunofluorescence microscopy demonstrated localization of NPIP to the nuclear membrane and colocalization with nuclear pore complex protein nucleoporin p62. NPIP is widely expressed and is thought to associate with the nuclear pore complex.
