SPECIFICITY

This antibody reacts with GMP-140 (P- selectin) on activated human platelets; it does not react with resting platelets. It does not interfere with platelet aggregation or platelet adhesion. It does not cross-react with rabbit, rat, porcine, or canine activated platelets.

DILUTION INSTRUCTIONS

Dissolve lyophilized antibody in 50ul of distilled water (2.0mg/ml final concentration).

For in vitro investigational use only. Not for use in therapeutic or diagnostic procedures.

APPLICATIONS

ELISA: 1-10ug/ml with immobilized antigen.

Flow cytometry: 1-10ug/ml

Thrombin-activated human platelets incubated 30 minutes at room temperature with 1-2ug #50122 per 107 cells/ml and FITC-labeled secondary antibody.

Western Blot: 5-10ug/ml, non-reducing and non-heating conditions.

Immunohistochemistry: 5-10ug/ml, frozen tissue sections.

STORAGE AND STABILITY

This product does not contain preservative. Lyophilized antibody is stable at 4oC for 2 years. Store the reconstituted solution (2.0mg/ml) in aliquots at -20oC for one year or at 4oC for 6 months after adding 0.1% sodium azide. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
