Description

HGV Real Time RT-PCR Kit is used for the precise quantitative detection of Hepatitis G virus by using real time PCR system, providing reliable diagnostic result for Hepatitis G. Hepatitis G virus is a single positive-strand RNA viruses. It is transmitted mainly through blood transfusion and other parenteral route; there are also mother-to-child transmission and iatrogenic transmission. Hepatitis G virus can cause acute hepatitis in clinically, also can turn into chronic hepatitis. Transmission of HGV can occur either simultaneous or successive infection with HAV and HEV, while more common is coinfection or superinfection of HBV and HCV.
