AP3B2 Antibody Description

\"\" Background The AP3 complex is a heterotetramer composed of two large adaptins (AP3D1, AP3B1 or AP3B2), a medium adaptin (AP3M1 or AP3M2) and a small adaptin (APS1 or AP3S2). The complex is associated with the Golgi region as well as more peripheral structures. It facilitates the budding of vesicles from the Golgi membrane and may be directly involved in trafficking to lysosomes. Unlike the homologous AP3B1, AP3B2-containing AP3 complexes are preferentially targeted to neuronal processes, and mice deficient in AP3B2 displayed compromised synaptic zinc stores. \"\" Synonyms AP3B2 Antibody, NAPTB, AP-3 complex subunit beta-2, Adapter-related protein complex 3 subunit beta-2 \"\" Immunogen Anti-AP3B2 antibody was prepared from whole rabbit serum produced by repeated immunizations with an 18 amino acid synthetic peptide near the N-terminus of human AP3B2 \"\" Immunogen Type Peptide \"\" Storage Condition Store vial at -20° C prior to opening. Aliquot contents and freeze at -20° C or below for extended storage. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature. This product is stable for several weeks at 4° C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. \"\" Application Note Anti-AP3B2 Antibody has been tested for use in ELISA, Western Blotting, Immunohistochemistry and Immunofluorescence. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user. Expect a band at approximately 119 kDa in Western Blots of specific cell lysates and tissues. \"\" Purity/Specifity Anti-AP3B2 Antibody was affinity purified from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity chromatography. Cross reactivity with AP3B2 from other sources has not been determined. \"\" Disclaimer Note-General This product is for research use only and is not intended for therapeutic or diagnostic applications.
