Aha2 Antibody Description

\"\" Background The Arabidopsis protein RIN4 is a well known regulator of plant immunity. The plasma membrane H+-ATPases Aha1 and Aha2 are one class of RIN4-associated proteins. Aha1 and Aha2 play a crucial role in resisting pathogen invasion- plants use RIN4 to regulate H+-ATPase activity during immune responses, thereby controlling stomatal apertures during pathogen attack. Wild type AHA2 has been found to be localized to the plasma membrane, and has also been found in the ER. \"\" Synonyms ATPase hydrogen-exporting ATPase 2, ATPase 2, plasma membrane-type, Proton pump 2, AHA2 \"\" Immunogen Aha2 Antibody was produced from whole rabbit serum prepared by repeated immunizations with Aha2. \"\" Immunogen Type Recombinant Protein \"\" Storage Condition Store vial at -20° C prior to opening. Aliquot contents and freeze at -20° C or below for extended storage. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature. This product is stable for several weeks at 4° C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. \"\" Application Note Anti-Aha2 Antibody is suitable for use in WB. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user. \"\" Purity/Specifity Anti-Aha 2 Antibody was purified by Protein A chromatography. A BLAST analysis was used to suggest cross-reactivity with Aha 2 from Human, Mouse, and Rat based on 100% homology with the immunizing sequence. Cross reacts with Aha1. Cross-reactivity with Aha2 from other sources has not been determined. Heat Shock research. \"\" Disclaimer Note-General This product is for research use only and is not intended for therapeutic or diagnostic applications.
