Molecular Biology of Wood Formation: Application of Multi-omics to Reaction Wood System Li Jian,Shi Jiangtao(Key Laboratory of Bio-based Material Science and Technology(Northeast Forestry University),Ministry of Education,Harbin 150040,P.R.China)The aim of this paper is to explore the developmental biology of wood formation on the molecular level by taking the reaction wood system as an example,in order to meet the demand for wood products and reduce pressure on forest,as well as to develop high-quality and high-yield tree species.Based on the basic knowledge of molecular biology and the biological process of wood formation,the application of multi-omics platform to the molecular biology study of wood formation is presented in terms of the following five aspects: genomics,transcriptomics,proteomics,metabonomics,and bioinformatics data processing.In addition,future work is pointed out according to the current shortage in this field. 【Fund】: 国家外专局引智项目(\"111”项目 B08016) 【CateGory Index】: S781.1
