StorageAll Antibodies, unless otherwise noted, should be stored lyophilized at 4°C. If not used within 1 week, after reconstitutionaliquot and store at -20°C. The CD3 antigen is expressed by thymocytes and matureT-cells. It is also present in the cytoplasm in early thymocytesand has been utilized as an early marker of T-cell differentiation.Reacts primarily with and chain of CD3 complex.Distribution: typical CD3 pattern. Not present on normalB-cells, monocytes or granulocytes. Around 70-80% ofperipheral T-cells, T-cell leukemias, and thymocytes expressthe antigen. This clone has been demonstrated to activateT-cells in vitro.
