ApplicationEliminating mycoplasma of resistant strainPreventing the appearance of resistant strainCellmaxin is a new antibiotic formulation speciallydesigned to protect cell culture system frommycoplasmacontamination. Cellmaxin is a uniqueanti-mycoplasmareagent that contains a uniquecombination of macrolideand quinolone.Unlikeother anti-mycoplasma reagent thatrequires the sequential and cyclic use of twoantibiotics. Cellmaxin is ready-to-use and can be added to cellculture medium directly.Furthermore, two componentsin Cellmaxin act onseparatetargets blocking protein synthesis and DNA replication.Therefore, Cellmaxin is more effective in eliminatingmycoplasma and preventthe appearance of resistant strains.The quinolone in Cellmaxin can enter cells easily and therefore are active on both intracellular pathogens aswellas free mycoplasma. For many Gram+ bacteria, the targetof Cellmaxin is top -oisomerase IV whicheukaryotic cellsdo not contain.Therefore Cellmaxin is less toxic than other anti-mycoplasmareagents.
