Sulfosuccinimidyl 6-(3-[2-pyridyldithio]-propionamido)hexanoate (Sulfo-LC-SPDP Crosslinker) is a water soluble, cleavable, heterobifunctional protein crosslinker. Sulfo-LC-SPDP contains a dithiopyridyl group which is reactive towards cyteines (-SH groups) and an NHS group, which is useful when targetting primary amines (-NH2 groups). SPDP also contains a disulfide linkage in its spacer arm, which is cleavable with reducing agent, such as DTT, TCEP, among a few others carried by CovaChem.
