GD2 has been identified as tumor-associated antigens expressed on the surface of neuroectoderm-derived tumors |(melanoma, neuroblastoma and glioma) and T-cell leukemia. Gangliosides (sialic acid-containing glycosphingolipids) are normal membrane constituents and highly expressed in the vertebral central nervous system.Applications: |Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry, Immunocytochemistry and Cytotoxicity. Other applications not tested.Recommended DilutionsImmunohistochemistry: Frozen tissue sectionsCytotoxicity: GD2 positive cells Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.Storage and StabilityMay be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
