MaxLight™ 490 is a new Blue-Green photostable dye conjugate comparable to DyLight™488, Alexa Fluor™488 and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (491nm); Emission (515nm); Extinction Coefficient 73,000.Calcium-dependent phospholipase A2 that selectively hydrolyzes glycerophospholipids in the sn-2 position (By similarity).Applications: |Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.Recommended DilutionWestern Blot: 1:500-1:1000Immunohistochemistry: 1:50-1:100Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.Storage and StabilityMay be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
