CD11c is a 150kD glycoprotein also known as alphaX integrin, CR4, and p150. CD11c forms a alphaXbeta2 heterodimer with beta2 integrin (CD18). It is primarily expressed on dendritic cells, NK cells, a subset of intestinal intraepithelial lymphocytes (IEL), and some activated T cells. The alphaXbeta2 integrin plays an important role in cell-cell contact by binding its ligands: iC3b, fibrinogen and CD54.||Applications: |Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested.||Recommended Dilution: |Flow Cytometry: 2ul or 5ul of antibody/test (million cells in 100ul staining volume or per 100ul of whole blood).|Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.||Storage and Stability:|May be stored at 4°C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at 4°C. Do not freeze. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
