The Trefoil Factor peptides (TFF1, TFF2 and TFF3) are expressed in the gastrointestinal tract, and appear to play an important role in intestinal mucosal defense and repair.||Source:|Recombinant protein corresponding to human Trefoil Factor 1, a homodimeric protein consisting of two 60aa polypeptide chains, which includes a 40aa trefoil motif containing three conserved intramolecular disulfide bonds, expressed in E. coli.||Molecular Weight: |~13.2kD (60aa)||Applications: |Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE.
