This series of products feature linear PEG functionalized with a bisMPA wedge with an average number of functional end groups (such as amine in the form of TFA salt). The hyperbranched structure is described as pseudo-generations of dendrimers G3, G4, G5 and G6 having 16, 32, 64, and 128 end functional groups, respectively. The MW for the entire molecule for G3, G4, G5 and G6 is 14,600, 19,400, 29,000 and 48,300 gram per mole. The MW of entire molecule is calculated from the MW of the linear PEG core combined with the number of dendritic structure and the functional groups. For amines, the MW includes the counter ions of trifluoroacetic acid salt. Products are fully characterized by HNMR CNMR and SEC (GPC).
