The arrays were incubated with 1:200 diluted serum samples. The results shown in Fig. A indicate no background from the biotin-labeled anti-human IgA antibody or from the fluorescent dye-labeled streptavidin. In Fig. B, a base background level is established from normal serum. This background can be subtracted during data analysis without affecting the results. Lastly, Figures C and D are the results of two individuals diagnosed with lung cancer. Several autoantibodies show clear binding.Fig 1.
