It may be possible to use the QIAvac Connecting System with other manifolds and laboratory vacuum pumps using adaptors (not supplied). The integrated Vacuum Regulator measures the pressure difference between the inside and outside of the vacuum system. Use of the Vacuum Regulator makes it easy to monitor the pressure generated by the vacuum source.Procedure Instructions for connecting the QIAvac Connection System between the vacuum source and the vacuum manifold are provided in the handbook. Applications The QIAvac Connecting System together with the QIAvac 24 Plus vacuum manifold proved to be an ideal set up for convenient processing of several QIAGEN kits.
