Human CD21 is a receptor for complement fragments C3d, C3dg or ic3D (1, 5) and also EBV (4). CD21 is also a ligand for CD23 and plays a role in IgE synthesis (3). Isotype: Murine IgG1Immunogen: Human HFB-1 cell lineSpecificity: Antibody BU33 recognizes the CD21 molecule of about 145 kd (1). BU33 has been shown to bind to Equine B cells, suggesting cross reactivity (7).Functional Application: Antibody BU33 inhibits the CD21 - CD23 interaction (2, 6, 8).References: 1.
