There are two mismatches in the amino acid sequence, however, the epitope for this antibody appears to be in between the two mismatches, suggesting that primary antibody CD163-101AP will label Rhesus CD163. You may need to use a higher concentration of this antibody as the affinity may be slightly lower than for human or baboon CD163 protein. I would like to add that we have a second, C-epitope CD163 antibody (CD163-112AP). I blasted the sequence and found 100% homology with Rhesus protein.
